1. What is BRAGcon?

BRAGcon stands for Baton Rouge Area Gaming Convention and is the newest LAN Event in
Baton Rouge. We will be hosting a number of LAN Parties each year in hopes to promote the social and competative aspects of computer gaming.
|
2. What is a LAN Party?
|

A LAN Party is a gathering of people & their computers which are then networked together
in order to play games, share files or converse with others. LAN parties are normally BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) and can range in sizes.

3. What do I need to bring?

The following is a list of what you need to bring to a BRAGcon Event:
- The Essentials:
- Computer - Remember to grab the Power Cable
- Monitor - Again, Remember the Power Cable & Video Cable
- Power Strip - Please do not forget one of these! Each attendee will only have one
designated outlet.
- Mouse & Keyboard
- Headphones - Please refrain from bringing speakers & subwoofers. This will keep
noise pollution to a minimum.
- Game CDs - If any of the games we are playing require CDs, Grab-em!
- Operating System CDs - Just incase your day takes a dive for the worst!
- Spare Cash - We do not accept Credit Cards nor Checks on the day of the event.
- The Not so Essential, but nice to have:
- Sleeping Bag & Small Pillow - If it happenes to be an overnight event.
- Personal Snacks - Mmmm...Cheesy Poofs
- What you should NOT bring:
- Numerous Power hungry items - We have limited resources in this department. Your
power consumption will be monitored!
- Speakers or Subwoofers - As stated above, this is to reduce noise pollution
- Alcohol - See Section 4 below

4. Is alcohol allowed?

Currently, alcohol is not allowed at any of our events. Please refrain from bringing any alcoholic
beverage as stated above.
